What is the International Award?
The International Award is a new category at the Podfluencer Awards 2026 – because podcasting knows no borders. Most podcast awards are limited to the German-speaking world. Since the Podfluencer started in 2022, we’ve steadily expanded our reach – and now we’re opening the stage to independent podcasters worldwide, from True Crime and Business to Education and more. The only requirement: your podcast is produced in English. Anyone podcasting independently and broadcasting in English could apply.

Podcasting knows no borders
The International Award celebrates the global nature of podcasting. Independent podcasters from around the world create content that connects communities and bridges borders. The award was open to all English-speaking independent podcasters worldwide, whether your focus is international topics or a global audience. Anyone producing their podcast independently and broadcasting in English could apply.
Submissions ran until August 15 and are now closed – the international jury is reviewing all entries. The International Award will be presented live at the Podfluencer Festival 2026 on October 23rd and 24th in Munich – in front of the entire podcast community from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
